What to include in a flag rental quote request

Updated 2026-09-02 · FlagsRental.ca Editorial Team

A useful quote request describes the job before it tries to choose every product. Six details usually remove the most avoidable follow-up.

1. Exact city and project location

Include the city plus the venue, property or postal code. Delivery and installation depend on the real site, not only the metro area.

2. Event and rental dates

Add the event or project date and, for rentals, the start and end dates. If dates are flexible, say so.

3. Approximate quantity

An estimate is enough to start. Record quantities per item when you already know them.

4. Intended use

Explain whether the display is for an event, wayfinding, a property, a ceremony, branding or a long-term installation.

5. Site and installation conditions

Identify the surface, indoor or outdoor use, access limits and whether delivery and installation are required. Permanent poles may require professional site, engineering and permit review.

6. Artwork and approvals

For custom printing, note whether artwork exists, who approves it and when production-ready files can be supplied.

Put it into one request

The quote builder saves selected items and quantities, then asks for these details.
